The Covid-19 pandemic has forced many professionals to find meaningful ways to keep their skills updated, engage with their communities and continue their professional development.
November saw the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Health (FSRH), part of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, host a successful virtual meeting with over 400 attendees from around the country.
This included GPs, sexual health and family planning professionals. Our Consultant, Nithya Ratnavelu, was an invited speaker at this first virtual meeting, presenting on ‘Spotting the signs of gynaecological cancer’.
The take-home messages included keeping a symptom diary, reporting symptoms early and being persistent if you feel there is an unaddressed concern.
